Somebody is still wondering that Facebook is such an excellent social network, so why we need to try another the new network Google Plus? Jon Collins at Epipheo has made an awesome short clip that could help you get more understandings about Google+.
The biggest advantage of Google+ over Facebook is that we can manage all connections into Circles and treat each circle separately whereas this is quite confusing in Facebook. I feel the video is a little ironic at the end as we are providing more controls for Google over essential services. However, it would be interesting enough to draw your attention.

In Facebook we also have a thing called “List”. I’ve been using List since the very beginning, and when Facebook updated their privacy I have been able to share my status or whatever for a specific list only, just like what ppl do with Google+ Circles. And actually I have done that several times now. I wonder why no one bother to use that feature on Facebook, and now go crazy with Circle on Google+?
Anyway, Google+ rocks, cause I’m a Google fanboy .:P

Yeah Facebook has friend list but I believe that most people are not using it and even don’t know this feature exists. Facebook failed to make the privacy settings visible whereas Google knows how to make it more intuitive with Circles. However, I hope Facebook won’t lose the game as I don’t want Google to become a monopoly.

Yep, it’s so true. I’ve just realized that. For example, if I put Tuan Do into a List called “Arch enemy”, you can notice right away, while you will have no idea which Circle I put you into in Google+ :D

I’m having a great time with Google Plus and I would love to see it replace Facebook one day. I’m a Google fan anyway. :) Thanks for the vid.

I like the quick and easy circle feature over the list feature on Facebook. I also like that I can assign a circle to a person but they do not know the name of the circle. The video is great and I like where the guy goes outside to play with his real life friends but where are they.. Using social media of course.. I am enjoying Google plus and look forward to the day that more people I know are using it as well.
