iDealsChina, a partner of Apple in China, has recently shared a picture of the digitizer panel of the upcoming iPhone 5. According to the news, iPhone 5 will feature a 4 inch display in the same encasement as iPhone 4.
The edges of iPhone 5’s screen will be much thinner compared to iPhone 4 so that it could retain the old size. It is possible that the display will be expanded to the edges of the device. In addition, the phone still uses the traditional Home button, unlike earlier rumors that Apple will remove hard buttons on the front. The iPhone 5 will also have a thinner bezel on all sides featuring an edge-to-edge display. This would allow Apple to increase the display’s size and not change the device’s actual size. As predicted by experts, iPhone 5 will increase the resolution to 1136×640 pixels.
Expanding display to a larger size proves that Apple is trying to race against its biggest competitor – Android. The open OS is backed up by many leading manufacturers, this help Android smartphones become more diverse and rich with screen size from 3.7 to 5.3 inches. In 2010, iPhone is the advanced smartphone with the smallest screen, this is also the big disadvantage that many customers switched to its rival devices.

The iPhone 4′ camera is only 5 MP but I think it still provides excellent image quality compared to some other 8 MP phones. I see some people made movie with iPhone 4 too.

I have blackberry phone and i was going to get the iphone 4 until i found out they were coming out with the new iphone 5 this summer. Still dont know if i should wait or get the iphone 4?? I have never owned a iphone and was hoping those out there who have owned one could help!
Tuan says
If I were you, I will wait for the iPhone 5. There are only a few months left and our patience will pay off. Nobody wants to get an outdated iPhone, right?

Tuan says

But dear friends if iphone5 is not in your budget, then I will suggest to go for iPhone4. Even upto now what I got to know is there will be no difference techlogy only the screen will be 4 inch and also if you wait for iphone5 more then you are aware of this tech. for more few months…
Tuan says
You are right, Fawad. The next generation of iPhone would be called iPhone 4S and it wouldn’t be a big surprise for us. There would be just some minor improvements and the screen expansion. iPhone 4 will be a better choice then.
Fawad Hussain says
You are right Tuan, frankly speaking iPhone4 camera 5 MP is very good as compare to Nokia N8 12MP camera. Most of the people is attracted Nokia N8 12 MP camera.

I have a very old Droid…version 1. Mom never gets the upgrades..haha. This time I will but I LOVE my keyboard, I have never been a fan of the touch screen keyboard. Will I ever get used to it? I won’t have an option if I switch to an iPhone. Will the iPhone 5 give me the option to send mass text messages…not an email but text message? Like can I make a list or group of 10 people that I want to send a text message to each day and not lose any other features on my phone?
Tuan Do says
Yeah, you are totally right. By default, you can’t send mass text messages on iPhone. Anyways, there is an app for that. Android is of course a better choice in this case. That’s what I love about Android as well, there are always more options and we can customize almost everything. :)
