Or have you been wondering about raising the levels of your annual turnover through your facebook page? There are number of such applications available with the prominent ones being Welcome tab, Static Html, TabSite, TabFusion, IWipa, Lujure, and PageModo.
1. Welcome Tab
Most of us must have came across such pages on Facebook which urge the users to like them and are even paid incentives for the same in some cases. Such welcome pages are created with the help of Welcome Tab. It comes with features like a WYSIWYG editor and supportable functions as images hosting, CSS control and analytics in real time. The activation of this application is as simple as just visiting the page and hitting the “activate” button. The major advantage of this application is its wide price range varying from 99 cents monthly to $99.99 monthly which proves suitable for almost everyone. However, it comes with a not so effective free trial version which proves to be a disadvantage.
2. Static Html
If you are a master in Html/CSS applications and looking for a free option to customize your page, Static Html is the choice for you. It can be installed easily by visiting the Static FBML app, and hitting the “add static html to a page” option. Following this, select the page where you want to add this application and hit “add static html: iframe tabs” and you will be redirected to the fan page. Being a free application is a major advantage but the required knowledge of HTML is the drawback.

Another great application for a Facebook tab is MyWebees. Unlike most other apps that you mentioned here, MyWebees doesn’t build a great landing page, which invites your fans to click over to your website. MyWebees does the opposite – it ports your entire website, fully functional, over to your Facebook fanpage! Add in networking options, cross posting with other pages, coupons and ads, and you have a fairly comprehensive SMB marketing app :)

Have you ever felt troubled when trying to add a stunning custom tab to your page but don’t know how? Since last year, I had found several that works great in providing sub-tabs and some with fan gate options. Today, it’s all about templates and widgets! Wouldn’t it be great if you can add one of these facebook applications together with some from 23+ Facebook Page applications to improve fans engagement? After all, it’s all about trial and error.

If your Facebook Page is relatively new and you don’t have enough budgets to create multiple custom tabs like in the above plans, you just might love ShortStack! Differ from most Customizers, ShortStack has no page limitations and you can install up to 12 quick-publish tabs per page. You will have access to sweepstakes, fan gating tabs and other widgets except those required contest database, such as photo submissions for voting etc. Apart from its well designed template layouts, you can rearrange and set so certain widgets are exclusively for fans-view only. For those who have CSS knowledge you can enhance your tab further. The only catch for this free account is that your fan count should not be more than 2,000. Otherwise you must upgrade to paid packages.
