Features & Performance
If you are still doubtful about the effectiveness of a massage gun, you shouldn’t be because I’ve used different massage guns over the last few years and they have become an essential gadget in our house. Many people are using it for post-workout recovery and even when you don’t exercise, you might have back pain after working all day long. I myself had terrible elbow pain after playing tennis and it took a long time to recover. That was caused by repeated contraction of the forearm muscles resulting in tiny tears in the tendons; A massage gun like the HeyChy V2 is helpful during the recovery process and I could feel the effect almost instantly. Deep tissue massage to the forearm is very effective in relieving the pain. I’d tried different methods like resting or using ice packs but only a massage gun made me feel better.
The product comes in a hard storage case which is so easy to carry around. Besides, it keeps the massage gun, all 5 attachments, and the USB-C charging cable in place. You will just need to attach one of the 5 heads to the gun and start using it. Specifically, they have a round head for big muscle groups, a flat head for all parts of the body, a bullet head for joints, a shock absorption head for delicate parts, and a U-shaped head for spinal positions.
The gun has a compact and lightweight design. The total weight with an attachment is just about 1.5 lbs. This is combined with an oval handle and a rubberized grip, making it easy to hold firmly for extended usage.
There is only one button on the back; You can press on it to change the speed or long press to power it on/off. There are 5 speed settings and you can see the current speed on the LED indicator.
The HeyChy gun is equipped with a 2,600mAh battery and I’m quite satisfied with its battery life. According to the specs, it can last 5-8 hours on a single charge.
Overall, the HeyChy gun has similar features and performs as well as other massage guns I’ve tested. It packs a lot of power into a travel-friendly gun, besides, it combines impact and movement to loosen up tight and sore muscles and helps increase recovery,
