VANKYO, a budget-friendly projector brand, has launched its newest products in the Full-HD projector series, the Leisure 495W and Leisure 470 Pro. They both have native resolution of 1920×1080 pixels but their feature set differs.
VANKYO Leisure 495W
The Leisure 495W has a minimalist and compact design so you can easily move from room to room. It measures 4.84 x 7.01 x 3.35 inches and weighs just over 3 lbs. There is a rotary knob on the side to adjust focus and all connectivities, control buttons, and a keystone correction knob can be found on the back. You can connect your device to this projector via the HDMI port or cast content from your phone with Wi-Fi Screen Mirroring feature.
This is a great solution for your home theater system as it features Dolby sound, theater-quality HiFi stereo speaker, and 1,000:1 contrast ratio. The LED bulb’s brightness is rated at 220 lumens, therefore, the projector is more suitable for indoor usage in dark rooms. Its lifespan is up to 30,000 hours, so users won’t need to change it for the next 10 years. VANKYO Leisure 470 Pro
The Leisure 470 Pro is designed to be a portable outdoor projector. It measures 7.8 x 5.7 x 3 inches and weighs 2.2 lbs. The manufacturer claims it is at least 40% smaller than other popular native 1080p projectors on the market, making it a great portable projector for outdoor enthusiasts.
Some nice features of the Leisure 470 Pro include a 3W speaker, a dual-fan heat dissipation system, reduced reflection and blue light, and dual-band Wi-Fi screen mirroring. This projector has a simple design and there is no significant difference in terms of image quality between the 470 Pro and 495W. It can project to a screen of up to 250 inches. The 470 Pro is priced slightly slower at $169.99.
Both of the projectors have very reasonable prices and you can’t go wrong with either of them. I’ve used some VANKYO products earlier and was quite pleased with their performance; It is not easy to find high-quality native full-HD projectors in the sub-$200 price range.
