Never did “crisp” fries, chicken, etc. Unfortunately I have already donated my deep fryer. No luck with customer service.

I followed the recipes [(3) were in the booklet] were under cooked, but when I cooked them longer they never got crispy only burnt. The reviews don’t mention that, but did state that the unit dies with in 3 to 6 months? Is your still working? If so how do you get crispy home made fries from whole sweet potatoes (not store bought).
