Redroad is a home electronics brand from China; They aim to build high-quality products with new design and latest technologies while the price is approachable for average consumers. Although they have released some vacuum cleaners, the new Redroad V17 is the most interesting product in their lineup.

The vacuum comes in a compact box which has the same size as other stick vacuums. However, it has all kinds of accessories, including a wall mount, a metal extension rod, a dual-motorized roller brush head, a mini motorized brush head, a hose, a bottom hose, a wide nozzle, a crevice tool with LED light, and a dusting brush.
The most heavily-used tool is, of course, the dual-motorized roller brush. I am very surprised that Redroad incorporate the new design to their primary brush head. This is very similar to the head of the Dyson Omni-glide that I reviewed not long ago. I really love the cleaning mechanism of the brush head as the two motorized rollers spinning towards each other to pick up everything from large debris to fine particles. The head includes a soft roller brush and a regular roller brush with hard bristles. The head is configurable but there is no extra roller inside the box; I believe the performance would be even better if I could use two regular rollers when cleaning carpets.
Another advantage is that the head is so easy to maneuver, I don’t have to lift the vacuum or twist my wrist to change the direction. Besides, I can add the folding hose to the rod so that I can clean under furniture easier; I no longer have to lower my body or bend my back when cleaning low-clearance areas.
The vacuum features an LCD screen and a button on the back. The screen shows some important information like current cleaning mode, battery level, fault alerts, or filter replacement reminder. You can press the button underneath to switch between Eco, Medium, and Turbo mode. I often use Medium mode most of the time because I am only cleaning hard floor at this time. Notably, I thought that I would have to hold the trigger all the time to run the vacuum, that would be a huge disadvantage as I hate holding the trigger there for a whole cleaning session of 10-15 minutes. Fortunately, there is an electronic trigger lock and you can activate it by holding the button below the screen.
I am quite satisfied with suction power for the Redroad V17. It features a 120,000rpm top-notch digital maglev brushless motor which can deliver 155AW suction and 26,500Pa vacuum power. It is not the most powerful vacuum on the market but the power is good enough for most average consumers. When cleaning carpets, make sure to switch the vacuum to Turbo mode for the maximum suction power. The battery life of the vacuum is fairly good; It is equipped with a 2,500mAh lithium-ion battery which can last up to 60 minutes in Eco Mode. I often use it in Medium mode and the battery has never been drained out after a cleaning session.
Emptying the dustbin is as easy as pressing a button. You can also find a mini brush attached to the bottom of the dustbin; It is helpful when you need to take out dust or hair stuck inside the bin.
Some other notable features of the machine include double activated charcoal HEPA filters for cleaner air and 9-stage Mandala noise reduction system which brings down the noise level to around 60dB.
Overall, I am very impressed with the design, features and performance of the Redroad V17. We at TechWalls highly recommend the product, considering the very reasonable price tag of around $300. It is available on its website or Aliexpress.
