I like the operating system, but I find that it is mainly limited to the technical group. I can’t see anyone that is non-technical using Ubuntu.

The main reason for this is the hardware support. When I installed Ubuntu I had to jump through hoops to get the wireless adapter on the laptop to work. The network card work fine, but it took some time and effort to get the laptop connected to the wireless network. I can’t see a non-technical person going through such tasks. With Windows, it was just a matter of installing the OS and the wireless adapter worked without any issues.

Being technical, I do enjoy using a non-Windows OS, and not having to worry about viruses and malware as much. But as always, I am ever-vigilant about such tings.
