Apple has a wide range of earbuds but even the cheapest ones cost at least $129 at this time. Moreover, it is very difficult to justify the hefty price considering the fact that many similar earbuds cost less than half. The FIIL CC2 is a decent choice with an attractive price point of less than $50.

Features & Audio Quality
The FIIL CC2 has some similarities in design as some other products on the market; The earbuds sit in the contours of the ears with stems coming out of them. However, they also stand out with a dark color and edgier stems. The exterior of the stems look like aluminum but they are actually plastic. Therefore, they are very lightweight and feel comfortable. I can easily wear them for hours and forget they are sitting on my ears. They are also water-resistant, so I can wear them when walking or running outdoors.
The battery life of the earbuds is just good enough. I wear them to watch movies and they are often drained out once I finish them, so the estimated battery life is around 1.5-2 hours. Most of us often put the earbuds back to the charging case, so it is not really a problem. The total battery life could reach 32 hours. The charging case looks really cool with an opened top revealing the earbuds inside; They are actually very secured and impossible to drop out. I even find it a little difficult to take the earbuds out of the case.
The FIIL CC2 comes with an app allowing you to change EQ settings or check battery level, however, it is not really useful for this type of earbuds, so I rarely touched it. On the outside of the stems, there are touch controls to play/pause, take phone calls, or call up voice assistant. I tested the microphone but it doesn’t sound as loud and clear as my iPhone.
In terms of audio quality, I’m totally satisfied with its offerings. You shouldn’t expect much from these types of earbuds because they are not built for audiophiles. They don’t block out ambient noise really well and the sound is distorted significantly when you crank up the volume. Besides, the bass is almost non-existent and the treble is a little harsh. Having said that, I often use the earbuds to listen to podcasts, news, watch Youtube, or take phone calls; The mids are clear enough for those purposes and therefore, I don’t have any complaint for such budget earbuds.
Overall, the FIIL CC2 is a good-quality AirPods alternative and it might be a better choice for the majority of consumers. They offer pretty much the same features and audio quality at half of the price, so you totally should considering the product.
