The Q2 Pro is the first earbuds I’ve tested from both SuperEQ and OneOdio. My first impression with the product was not really good as the charging case is made of cheap plastic and quite lightweight even with earbuds inside. I appreciate that it has charging LED indicator on the front and a USB-C charging port on the back. The earbuds can last about 7-10 hours on a single charge but when combined with the case, the total battery life could be extended up to 30 hours.
The earbuds feature touch controls on both earpieces. You can tap on it to play/pause or take phone calls, double tap to skip tracks, long press to switch between ambient sound mode and turn on/off noise cancellation. They are really convenient for me as I can control music without touching my phone.
I tested some other in-ear headphones with similar design but was quite disappointed with most of them because they don’t fit well on my ears. The earpieces often fall out as soon as I start walking or running. I thought that the SuperEQ would have the same issue as they seem not fitting snugly on my ears. Surprisingly, they are actually very comfortable and I tried running with them on my ears; They earbuds stayed securely in place and didn’t drop out after a few miles.
I made some phone calls and was satisfied with their built-in microphones as well. The voice is crisp and clear while street and fan noises disappear.
Audio Quality
Recently I’ve tested many budget in-ear headphones and I was so surprised with their progress in audio quality. We no longer have to suffer a muddy and seriously distorted sound. Instead, the sound is entertaining with boosted bass but the mids are clear and the treble is high enough. Therefore, we have a warm sound without losing details in other ranges.
The earbuds are not built for audiophiles but most consumers will love the rich and full sound. I have no problem wearing them for a few hours to watch Youtube or listen to music. When I need to stop music to focus on work, I can leave the noise-cancellation mode on and it does a great job in getting rid of low-frequency noise.
