My friend has a S8 and dropped it, the screen cracked and both the cameras stopped working. Is there a reason why both the cameras stopped working and will replacing them make them work again?

I bought my husband an s8 plus from eBay. If he is on a call and gets an incoming call, the current call “drops” and neither party can hear each other. Then when the incoming call stops trying to come through, the first call “reconnects” and continues. This is very frustrating as sometimes he is on an important call when this happens. The person at Samsung told him this is because he has an international model. Is there a fix around this????

I am not a cellular engineer but you apparently are so maybe you can answer the following question:

Purchased an “unlocked” Galaxy S8+ fom Samsung so I could use it on any network and avoid cellular carrier contracts. To date it has been working on the Verizon network without issue.

Today I attempted to change carriers to Spectrum Mobile (who uses the Verizon network as the underlying network) and was unable to do so given the IMEI for my phone shows it as un-supported on the Spectrum service. What is really strange is that Spectrum will sell me a new S8+ for use on that network, but just will not support mine. Spectrum stated that Samsung S8 and S8+ phones specifically purchased from non-carrier sources (i.e. retail or Samsung direct) are specifically flagged as not supported.

I bought this “unlocked” Samsung phone (model SM-G955UZBAXAA ) to specifically avoid this very situation. I was told I could use it on any network and clearly that is not the case.

Any idea why my unlocked S8+ would not operate or be supported on the Spectrum Mobile network>

955 is the plus 950 is just s8, no +. Maybe someone got the boxes switched by mistake
