As I know, Akamai also provides CDN solution . Have you tested it ? What is the difference among Akamai, MAXCDN, CloudFront and PageSpeed ?

MaxCDN is always my favorite. i have used cloudflare for one of my client website and found they reduce the traffic a lot in terms of security and bot checks. Also amazon is another best choice but not everyone is familiar with its operation. MaxCDN recent price hike is little burden still they serve pages faster without any downtime.

Another CDN network that i would consider for my websites is Edgecast. It’s one of the leaders of the industry and any website’s owner can be ensured that with it’s company his site is fast, secured and well seo-optimized. Just look at the quantity of websites, using this network, that are in Alexa Top10K. And compare this quantity to Amazon Cloudfront, for example. Also Amazon’sAPI can be a little bit daunting. The console is pretty stiff and hard to get used to. On the contrary, Edgecast API is fully functional, offering configuration, reporting, and analytics in an easy to use way.

I moved from MaxCDN to KeyCDN
The pay-as-you-go pricing was a better fit for me.

I don’t think MaxCDN is the best. Just install the Varnish under the VPS or Dedicated server. Then using any type Free CDN. The website will be fastest . Or just use the WP-Super Cache under a WebHosting..

I m running a High Traffic Website. ( IP : 50,000 ↑ .PV : 35,000,000↑ Bandwidth:700GB↑ per day） And I m only using Free CloudFlare Plan and WP Super Cache.

Awesome post. Till now I was using Google Page speed for Page speed insights then After reading you article about MAxcdn I swithed to MAxCdn And it is very Good.

In reply to Lazlo Dreamus. other than couldflare, there's pagespeed and incapsula too. these too are currently free. you can do a quick download speed test between these three at spooster google page speed has been doing the best in my tests but your results may vary based on your geographical location.
