we tested this phone in senegal using an eSIM profile but it didn’t work, does this phone only work with USA carriers? if so how come it work in Senegal with a local physical sim card but failed with an eSIM profile.

Thanks for clarifying this ! The official info sheets by Apple does not mention clearly the difference between the China mainland iPhone 12 mini model and all the other ones regarding the dual SIM card. Great contribution, and timely too ! Lao Bo
