I would have to agree with you on that – there are some niches where this technique won’t work, (news sites like CNN would ruin their following if they were to try this), but I think if you’re creative you can get it to fit with a good amount of different topics!

I’ve been wanting to drop FeedBurner for something like MailChimp, but didn’t really know how it would go over — thanks for pointing that out to me. It really seems like FeedBurner is becoming increasingly outdated; no one wants a ton of mail every time someone makes a new blog post.

I’m definitely going to change a few things up and then try your one post per week method.
