Hi,
Maybe you misunderstood the point of the video. It is to prove that my iPhone was defective with dead spots on the lower right corner. You can watch the video again, especially after 40s, I tapped on the screen slower and it didn’t respond at all. This has nothing to do with iOS animation speed. I’m sorry as I don’t have the iPhone right now to prove the point.

Will you prove your words as a reviewer adding a video with iphone that do not act like this? =) or may be you will admit that you were wrong?

The point is – video above not showing any problem with the iphone. If you had some touch-issues, you should’ve been demonstrate them properly. Cause if you’re tapping the phone so rapidly – there should be a tiny pause between “menu closed”-“menu opened”. Otherwise the menu won’t even open, it is caused by os and cpu to avoid “freezes”. So the deal is not with the screen, but with interval you’re tapping. Sorry for my acridity, my english and dedication to details, it’s all about my brand new 5s. It’s perfect, I can not see any faults using it. But it acts just like yours if tap it so rapidly (so like my 4s does and my fiancees 5 does too) I can not understand – am I stupid, or just you were wrong about your unit? It’s very strange that another unit, as you said, acts differently. I can’t take it easy, I want to know for sure that my unit is ok or not.

I sold the replacement, not the defective unit.
This review was written 6 months ago and I don’t use an iPhone anymore. If you have one, you can try it by yourself. The iPhone 5S’ screen is quite responsive and you will never see the issue happen.
I’m using the HTC One and Galaxy S5, I can replicate the process on those phones if you want.

Previously you told that you sold it out via ebay. Now “received a replacement”.

Can you make a short video how it should “work great”, replicating the same thing you did in first video and I will bring you public apology.

For now – it’s simply ludicrous.

The issue was confirmed by an Apple’s employee, so there is nothing to talk about it. I received a replacement and it worked great.

Touchscreen defect? Take any 4s or other 5 or 5s (any kind, just with ios 7), try the same neurotic actions with them, and get the same result. It’s just interface that can not manage your psychotaps.
The thing is so obvious. There is already tiny OCD-panic below your video on the youtube. How can you be so un incompetent being a rewiever? Damn!

Thanks for your info.
I decided not to return the phone and listed it on eBay. A few seconds later, someone bought it for $800. I should have bought 5 more of the Gold iPhone, people are crazy about it. :D

I’ve never read or heard about it, so probably not a well-known issue, hmm

As for the replacement, I’m sure you can. I bought my iPhone 5 online and swapped it in the store (made an online reservation). They didn’t even ask for the receipt or anything. They know it’s an iPhone 5 (under warranty) and just replaced it
