Should I pair the 2 megabooms together 1st, then pair the lead one only? Or should I link the new megabooms separately to the lead boom 2 please? Any help gratefully received . Thank u ?

You will see there are lots of 1 star reviews for android. It’s currently getting worse and not better. I miss that stereo sound, but for now I recommend buying a mixer like the Z1 and running a line to each speaker until UE gets their act together.

I have a Bose that does AND the Boom will pair with my iPhone 7 and iPadPro, and 3) I just got two UE Boom 2 speakers that I want to use in tandem on another TV. When I first set it up, I was able to pair with the TV and the two speakers linked up. I did some testing to make sure that the speakers would not conflict with the Bluetooth speaker in the other room. I have not been able to link up the two speakers since. I can just pair one of them at a time. I have done a factory reset (power/-) to no avail. Any ideas

I just wanted to say, Tuan Do, that I’ve copied and pasted your excellent comment into a .txt file just to have in case techwalls.com ever disappears. So far, your comment is the ONLY place I’ve found it written down how to get Stereo mode from 2x speakers from a laptop, sans smartphone app. THANK YOU! Works great both from my Android phone and my Windows laptop. I tried it on my grandmother’s mac (always seems like it’s grandparents that use Apple products, eh? haha) and it worked great from there too.

Simon,
You can use the Double Up feature with any Bluetooth-enabled device. It can be activated without the app by simultaneously pressing the Bluetooth and + buttons on the already-connected speaker, then press the Bluetooth button twice on the speaker that you want to add. However, you won’t be able to choose between Stereo and Double mode without the UE Boom app. The app is available on just App Store and Google Play at the moment.
